This oak trestle dining table is executed in the manner of Henning Kjærnulf, likely produced in Denmark during the 1960s.
The rectangular top is fitted with two pull-out leaves at either end, extending the table to 259.5 cm.
Twin shaped pedestal supports carry the top, each cut with a fluid, waisted silhouette and joined by a single stretcher secured with an exposed wedged tenon at each end — a visible, functional detail rather than a decorative one.
The oak has a warm mid-brown tone with a straight, open grain, and the pedestal profiles are cleanly cut with softly rounded edges throughout.
Sled-form feet give the base a stable, grounded footprint despite the sculptural cut of the uprights.
A versatile dining table, compact when closed and considerably extended with both leaves in use.
