Danish display cabinet in solid oak with leaded glass doors, 1960s. The upper section is enclosed by two glazed doors, each set with a grid of small leaded panes over a lower panel carved with a raised, ring-turned roundel; a dentil-carved band runs beneath the moulded cornice, with reeded pilasters framing the case.
Behind the glass, four adjustable oak shelves sit against a warm oak-veneered back panel. Two drawers below are fitted with cast brass ring pulls, with matching brass escutcheons on the upper doors. The case stands on gently shaped, tapered legs joined by a shallow scalloped apron. Dentil moulding continues along the top edge, and pegged joinery is visible at the door frames.
The dentil cornice and leaded glazing point to an early 20th-century Danish design vocabulary carried into later cabinetmaking production, while the pale oak finish and case proportions sit comfortably within a broader Scandinavian living or dining room setting. Well scaled and highly usable.
