Danish display cabinet in solid oak with leaded glass doors, 1960s. The upper section is enclosed by two glazed doors, each set with a grid of small diamond-cut, leaded glass panes over a fielded lower panel; a dentil-carved band runs beneath the moulded cornice, with reeded pilasters flanking the case.
Behind the glass, the interior is fitted with adjustable shelving over a sage-green painted back panel. Two drawers sit below the doors, fitted with cast brass pulls and matching escutcheons on the upper doors. The case stands on block-turned, tapered legs. Joinery is visible at the door frames, with pegged mortise-and-tenon construction along the top rail.
The dentil detailing and leaded glazing point to an early 20th-century Danish design vocabulary carried into later cabinetmaking production, while the case proportions and oak finish sit well within a broader Scandinavian dining or living room setting. Well scaled and highly usable.
