Mid-Century Modern, Danish Oak Buffet, Henning Kjærnulf, 1960s

Charming Danish oak buffet or sideboard made in the style of Henning Kjærnulf, Denmark, circa 1960s. Crafted from beautifully grained oak, the piece showcases a warm and characterful Scandinavian aesthetic with subtle rustic details and traditional craftsmanship.

The buffet features three drawers with decorative brass pulls, open shelving, and a practical divided storage section ideal for vinyl records, magazines, or tableware. Sculptural turned oak legs and the softly carved apron add a distinctive folk-inspired touch often associated with Kjærnulf’s celebrated Danish Modern designs.

Its compact proportions make it a versatile piece that works beautifully as a small buffet, sideboard, media cabinet, or entry storage solution. The warm oak patina and elegant craftsmanship allow it to complement Scandinavian Modern, organic modern, rustic, wabi-sabi, and classic interiors alike.

A refined and functional Danish furniture piece with timeless appeal and strong decorative presence.
